Electric actuators from AUMA can be delivered with integral actuator controls mounted on the actuator or separately. Requirements like: plug/socket or the electrical connection; push buttons; lights for signalisation are assured by this integral control
A selector switch is used to select Local operation or Remote operation or to disable all operation commands. In addition, three indication lights show different actuator states.
The interface forms the link to process control system. Here, the commands from the process control system are received and signals issued. Depending on the DCS, parallel control with or without positioner or fieldbus is used.
The controls are in two versions: AUMA MATIC (with lights) and AUMATIC (with display);
The actuators control replaced the complex actuator controls located in control cabinets and simplified installation, commissioning and connection of the devices to the DCS.
AUMA not only offers a large variety of options for the interface to the MOV but also for the integration of the actuator into DCS systems - including fieldbus interfaces. (Profibus DP; Modbus RTU, Fieldbus Fundation).
AUMA offers the SIMA master station for the simple integration of actuators into the DCS system. The SIMA stores all data of the connected devices.
